It’s not a show without animals and there are plenty to be seen, judged, patted and even ridden at the Waroona Show.
At the North end of the grounds when you enter from Millar Street or the Southwestern Highway, you will find the Poultry Shed with chickens, geese, ducks or all shapes and sizes. From there heading east there are Cattle including some really cute calves and milking demonstrations, sheep and other various animal displays . The sheep dog displays will be near the stud cattle after lunch. On the oval starting at 8 in the morning, the horse events will be in action and in the afternoon you will be able to see the show jumping and 6 Bar Jumping events. For the little ones there are also pony rides. Don’t forget to drop by the stud cattle area to see Farmer Damian and his cute cow for an interactive milking demonstration to show the kids where milk really comes from.
