It’s not a show without animals and there are plenty to be seen, judged, patted and even ridden at the Waroona Show.
At the North end of the grounds when you enter from Millar Street or the Southwestern Highway, you will find the Poultry Shed with chickens, geese, ducks or all shapes and sizes. From there heading east there are Alpacas, Cattle including some really cute calves, sheep and the Lions Animal Nursery. If you are lucky you will also find the sheep dogs herding sheep through the crowd. On the oval starting at 8 in the morning, the horse events will be in action and in the afternoon you will be able to see the show jumping and 6 Bar Jumping events. For the little ones there are also pony rides.
