CHILDREN’S CLASSES

ENTRIES CLOSE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7th, 2009, 5.00 P.M. AT THE MAIN OFFICE.

NO LATE ENTRIES

 

EXHIBITS WILL BE RECEIVED AT THE FIRE STATION FROM 3.30 P.M.-6.30 P.M. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th  2009. PLEASE COLLECT AN “EXHIBIT CLAIM TICKET” FOR EVERY EXHIBIT, FROM THE SECTION’S STEWARD, WHEN DELIVERING EACH EXHIBIT.

Important Notes:

1 All exhibits must be entirely the work of the Child exhibiting the entry.

2 Two entries maximum per class per person.

3 Read each class carefully to avoid errors when making your entries.

4 All entries must keep within specified sizes. The Fire Station will be closed at 4.00 p.m. on Show Day. Children with exhibits will be re-admitted at approximately 4.15 p.m. They will need to give the “Exhibit Claim Ticket” for each exhibit, to an Official Steward, to have their exhibit returned.

DEFINITIONS

1 HOBBY MODEL: Popsticks, Matches, Balsa Wood, (non kit parts).

2 DISPLAY MODEL: Leggo, Meccano, Plastic or Metal, Kit Form Model.

3 HARD MATERIAL: Pottery, Glass, Metal, Ceramics.

4 SOFT MATERIAL: Fabric, Leather, Wool, Soft Toys.

5 RECYCLABLE: Paper, Glass, Plastic, Metal, Paper Mache or Wood.

Please refer to Adult Cooking section for important advice and handy hints.

1 All cooking to be home made unless stated and to be the work of the exhibitor.

2 Cooking to be staged on plain white paper plates, use smaller size plates where possible, no doilies.

3 Please read your schedule very carefully.
